The UNIQLO x WOEI UTme Design Contest (“Contest”) starts at 13:00 PM on 15th of April 2025 and runs until 17:00 PM on 30th of April 2025.

How to Enter:
- Eligibility: The Contest is open to residents in the Netherlands aged 18 and over, excluding employees of the Contest organizers and their immediate families, its agents and anyone professionally connected with this Contest.
- Entry instructions: To enter the Contest, participants must:
Step 1: create a design for an illustration intended to be printed on a UNIQLO short sleeve t-shirt, based on the theme ‘from Tokyo to Rotterdam’ (“Design(s)”).
Step 2: Compile a png file under 2MB in 2048*2048 pixels, with your Design(s).
Step 3: Fill in the google form on the UNIQLO x WOEI Design Contest page and submit your Design(s). Participants are allowed to submit multiple Designs.
- Entry Period: Starts 13:00 PM on the 15th of April 2025 and runs until 17:00 PM on the 30th of April 2025 (the “Entry Period”).
- Design Guidelines:
Please make sure that your submitted Design does not include the following prohibited contents:
- Unauthorised contents that infinite third party rights such as but not limited to:
- Names, portraits, photographs and/or other contents of celebrities, entertainers and/or famous characters;
- Photographs or other individuals (person identifiable);
- Names, brand names, logos and/or other contents which express other companies or brands.
- Inappropriate, immoral contents such as but not limited to:
- Indecent or vulgar contents;
- Violent or cruel contents;
- Contents that damage the reputation of UNIQLO and/or WOEI or any other party causes other harm to third parties;
- Antisocial contents;
- Other contents that are deemed inappropriate.
- Compensation: The winner will receive a compensation of EUR 1000 (“Compensation”).
- Name credits: UNIQLO and/or WOEI shall mention the name of the participant that created the winning Design(s) when selling the winning Design via UTme services at the UNIQLO store in Rotterdam.
- The winner’s notification: The winner will be notified via email or telephone by the 7th of May 2025. If the winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 3 days, then an alternative winner will be selected.
Rights of UNIQLO
- UNIQLO has the right to print the winning Design(s) on UNIQLO T-shirt’s via its UTme machine to be sold exclusively at the UNIQLO Rotterdam store for a period of six (6) months. UNIQLO does not owe any compensation for this other than the Compensation mentioned above.
- The participant agrees to an irrevocable and exclusive transfer to UNIQLO of all the economic rights attached to the winning Design(s), as and when they are produced. The rights assigned to UNIQLO shall among others include the right of reproduction and in particular the right to fix, digitise, reproduce and publish the winning Design(s), in any material and by any means on any medium in any colour and in particular (i) in the artwork catalogue of UTme! Rotterdam, (ii) on UNIQLO products available for UTme! Rotterdam services, in any dimension whatsoever in return for payment or free of charge to any public; (iii) on any intangible medium necessary for the UTme! services in Rotterdam, in particular, optical digital, electronic, computerised, known or unknown to date, as well as authorising reproduction and distribution of reproductions.
- Participant hereby gives its explicit consent to UNIQLO for sharing the winning Design(s) on its website and social channels including but not limited to EU channels and newsletters.
- Participant shall always obtain UNIQLO’s prior written approval before posting any content regarding the winning Design(s).
- Participant shall tag @uniqloeurope and use the hashtag #UNIQLORotterdam #WOEI when posting content about the winning Design(s).
- Any personal information provided by entrants will be collected, stored and processed by or on behalf of the Promoter strictly in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
- The UNIQLO’s Privacy Policy applies to any processing of data performed in connection with this Contest. The Privacy Policy can be found at UNIQLO’s website.
General
- In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Contest organisors, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Contest or the giving of prizes, the Contest organisors reserve the right to cancel or amend the Contest or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to entrants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
- UNIQLO and its agents reserve the right at its sole discretion not to consider, and to exclude or disqualify any entry that they deem to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the Contest, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Contest organizers to be in violation of or inappropriate with these Terms and Conditions.
- If, for any reason, the sale of the winning UTme design(s) in the UNIQLO store in Rotterdam may cause reputational and or other damage to UNIQLO and/or WOEI, UNIQLO reserves the right to stop the sale of the winning UTme Design(s) before the six-month period has expired.
- UNIQLO assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) UNIQLO or any participant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise, (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Contest; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the administering this Contest (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise); (v) any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of the prize
- The Contest and the Terms and Conditions will be governed by Dutch law and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Contest will be subject to the Courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
